Meet The Team
Jeanne Rapone
Principal Designer
Jeanne has designed kitchens, bathrooms and every other room in the home, for clients from Washington DC to Bar Harbor Maine. Originally from New York, after 10 years working as a benefits administrator, she made the decision to follow her passion for the arts and pursued a degree in interior design.
After 30+ years working as a designer, Jeanne had a vision of building a design firm, a collaborative environment bringing all facets of the design & build industry under one roof, to make a one-stop shop for clients looking to renovate and furnish their entire home, or their kitchen or bath, or for just pillows for their sofa. In 2015 Centerline Design & Build was born.
Jeanne’s work has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, New England Home, This Old House, Maine Home & Design, Coastal Living and Signature Kitchens.
Jeanne resides in Yarmouth with her husband and two sons. She enjoys traveling, her time upta camp and cooking for a crowd.
Kate Kyle
Controller
A Mainer born and bred, Kate recently returned to Cumberland with her family. Kate’s background includes accounting studies in college and a first career in accounting software before transitioning to focus on family and bookkeeping for the family business. Her organizational skills and ability to run a project are second only to her passion for design and helping clients envision and realize their house as a home.
Kate and Jeanne met through their children and the resulting friendship led to the creation of Centerline Design & Build.
Formerly Centerline’s Senior Project Manager, Kate recently took on financial operations as the company’s Controller. When not managing costs and busy schedules, Kate still immerses herself in design, searching, collecting and curating looks and that perfect “something”, whether it’s fashion or interiors.
Joe Solmos
General Contractor
Joe is a Certified Graduate Builder with twenty-nine years of experience. He has owned and operated his own home building, property management, and remodeling companies. Having constructed over 150 custom new homes and remodeled close to three hundred, he’s learned to listen, respond quickly, and the make the process as easy as possible. When asked, clients will say he is the consummate professional, always on top of the project and fully communicating its progress.
A Hoosier by birth, he and his family relocated to Yarmouth Maine in 2007. When he’s not working, Joe spends his time fishing for striper, hiking, camping, skiing, and volunteering as a board member of the Cousins Little John Island Improvement Association.
Brett Williams
Site Supervisor
Brett has been in construction since he was 14! He spent 17 years as a professional firefighter. He grew up in Florida and at one time spent five years in Afghanistan in the State Department Anti-Terrorism Assitance Program! And no easier than his aforementioned history, he also raised three children with his lovely wife, Kay. It’s really no wonder why we all go to Brett for solutions on the job site.
Brett moved to Maine 26 years ago, in his time off he enjoys his camp in New Hampshire, 4-wheeling and fishing. We all think of him as a super-hero but when asked about his “hidden talents” he replied “if I told you they wouldn’t be hidden;)”
Lisa Morris
Senior Designer
Lisa earned her degree in Fashion from Endicott College and the University of Massachusetts, with a focus on textile, textile history and design. Lisa began her career at The Boston Design Center, before moving on to a career at Knoll Furniture. Lisa continued her education studying at New England School of Art & Design and Harvard University as well as working for many years as an interior designer for other firms, including her own, before joining the team here at Centerline in 2018
Lisa’s work has been featured in Maine Home & Design, Maine Home, Coastal Living and Better Homes & Garden.
Lisa lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband and her doodle Milo. She enjoys time spent with family and friends as well as cooking, gardening & traveling.
Shane Eliasen
Design Assistant / Project manager
Originally from Germany, Shane has always had a passion for making things beautiful. This led him to study fashion merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and exposed him to the world of design. He worked his way through school in luxury retail, followed by a design internship at Robert Allen and stints in merchandising and project management.
Eventually, Shane and his wife Kimberly moved to Maine, and he started at Centerline in the early years as Kate’s assistant. He eventually carved out his role as Project Manager for the company, acting as the liaison between Centerline Design & Centerline Built. When one of our designers come up with a vision for their client’s home, Shane makes sure every detail is carried through to the end.
When not at work, Shane enjoys travel, going out to the latest restaurants and movies, and mixology.
Peter Daigle
Lead Carpenter
Aside from a few years spent in Connecticut and Colorado, Pete Daigle is a lifelong Mainer. Hailing originally from Littletown, Peter worked as a dry waller and then as a carpenter before joining Centerline. A resident of Lyman, Peter enjoys spending time with family and tossing around cornhole bags or horseshoes.
Carolyn Allen
Procurement Specialist

Carolyn hails from a little town called Winchester, MA. She began working at a young age, first helping out in her family’s jewelry store in Boston, and later moving into property management and accounting after graduating from Boston College. On a snowmobiling trip to Eustis, Carolyn met her husband, Jason, and they have since settled in the Lakes Region area and welcomed a daughter.
Carolyn has long dreamed of moving into the interior design industry and found the perfect fit for her skillset with Centerline. Her impeccable organization skills and acute awareness of the details make her an integral part of the design process as our Procurement Specialist.
In her free time, in addition to decorating, playing tennis, and spending summers on the lake with family and friends, Carolyn also enjoys singing all genres of music. She has performed in numerous venues including TD Garden, the Kibbie Dome and BC’s Alumni Stadium.
Abby Johnson
Designer
A Portland native, Abby attended college in Ohio before returning to Maine to pursue her dream of interior design. After stints working in marketing, graphic design, baking and event planning, Abby is happily working in the industry she’s always loved and spends her free time outdoors or pursuing art with her husband and husky.
Barbara Boynton
Kitchen Designer

Barbara is a proud Maine native. She attended Enidcott College and UNE in her earlier years and has since made Biddeford her home. She has been a Kitchen Designer for 26 years and has an eye for design and creative functionality. Barbara loves spending time gathering in her own kitchen with her husband and two sons, and is passionate about cooking up tasty meals and trying new recipes. Barb knows that these times, gathered with friends and family in the kitchen, make for fond memories. Her 9 years as a lighting designer and 2 years as a cabinet facility rep give her a well-rounded background when it comes to designing kitchens for her clients! She is master of the details and incredibly thoughtful when it comes to a clients’ use of their space, she ensures every aspect is well planned to support each clients’ unique wants and needs.
Kelly McNulty
Senior Designer
Kelly grew up in Connecticut and attended Roger Williams University. She has sound and diverse experience from working in two high-end residential interior design firms in Boston and an architecture firm in Jackson, Wyoming. She moved to Maine a few years ago with her husband Tim, rescue pup Riley, and they have since added daughter Olivia to the family! She is now excited to call Maine her home. Kelly is always learning new creative design aspects to bring to clients’ homes. She has found that the Portland area, with all of its natural beauty and booming growth, is an exciting and welcoming place to hone her skills and design passion. When she is not designing you can find her in the garden, cooking or on a long run.
